It's back! This bug! After today (July 1, 2025) patch, I took my two teen sims to active high school, except only one of them got their tasks to complete. I selected both of my teens to follow, but this still happened. At the end of the school day the one without tasks got stuck at school as well. I have no mods or cc installed at this time, though I have had in the past. This wasn't happening before the patch, though the UI was very glitchy.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Send two or more teens to high school and follow them, then change the active teen Sim
What happens when the bug occurs? Secondary teen Sims do not have the high school event tasks on the top left corner, just one Sim
What do you expect to see? High school event tasks to be seen on all teen Sims that are attending school, as it used to previously
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? None. New save. Just repaired and issue still occurs

I am experiencing same issue (even started new thread bc I searched and only found the old locked thread).
New save. No mods. Even repaired before playing this new save and it still occurs.
I'm also having this issue. I previously was playing a family with three teens and could select to follow all three to school but only one ever received the daily popup. That meant that only that teen (and it was always the same teen) could progress at school, get credit at the end of the day for their work, and get credit for the exams. It's been a few weeks in the real world and several weeks in game, and now the family has two teens. Again, same thing. I select to follow both but only one receives the daily popup, credit, advancement, etc.
I did notice that several other people mentioned that they couldn't bring their other teens home at the end of the school day. The way I found to work around that issue was to have the teen that did receive the popup (which is the one that can travel home) use their phone to travel that way and add the other teens to their travel group. Then I select their house as the destination. It requires some extra load screens and isn't as simple as simply clicking the "home" button on the portrait, but it's better than having to reload the game multiple times as one user above me mentioned.
I was so happy when my 2nd teen was going to age up, as I thought this was fixed. I suppose it was, for a short time anyway. My 2 teens got to school and yet again no tasks for the 2nd teen. I have a 3rd child aging up in a Sim week. I'm so disappointed.

The UI is fixed but tasks are not showing up for stuff like career day. My sim got threatened with expulsion over this lol.
No mods used, only 1 teen in household.
I'm having the issue where tasks aren't showing up for Career Day, the rest of the tasks during the school day do show up though.
Having the same issue as well. Household with 4 teens, one being a Faerie. Vampire, Alien, and Regular Teen Sim have the daily task bar, but the Faerie does not. Also when not following them to school, even if the Faerie does her homework she still gets a bad grade. Today I saved middle of a school day while they were off the lot. Loaded the game and the Faerie teen was at home and dropped a grade while the others were still at school.
When four or more teens from the active household attend high school, all of them now have High School Day tasks.
