[HSY] Sims stuck at high school

I have 4 teen sims in my current household.  Two of them being twins so I decided to attend a school day with them both. Upon loading the active school day the event tasks for Twin A loaded fine while Twin B caused a last exception. No tasks ever showed up but she continued the school day autonomously as normal. The problem is that when the school day ended the game automatically took Twin A back to my main lot but Twin B remained “at school” and her icon was greyed out and wouldn’t allow me to bring her back to the main lot. In game following these days she has not been returning to school as every day since this happened has been displaying “Day Off” in her career panel. I’ve tried moving her into a separate household to see if that changes anything but the same issue occurs. I’m not sure what to do I will try to relaunch without mods and see if the issue fixes itself.
