I have an issue since two days (I guess it is since the update). My Sims is stuck in high school. He was not able to come back home so I restarted the game and he went back but now even if he is home...

This issue still persists and just happened to me now. Is it not getting fixed? Yesterday I couldn’t follow my two teens to school, they went to school but no away action other than “leave early”. When school was over, they’re back to home but like op said, there’s logo they’re still at school. I quit to manage world, entered the household again but now school schedules completely disappeared from calendar. I didn’t save the game, tried to remove mods, did repair and started with clean folder, nothing changed. Then, I tried again to travel them to somewhere else, it fixed it for a while.
Next day, I can follow them to school and it’s a holiday at the same time, no tasks showed up. I forced one teen to go home at 3pm, but his icon wasn’t turning grey (which indicates they aren’t in the lot anymore). And when I moved my cursor to his icon (there’s an exclamation mark), it’s said he’s in school and there’s an option to “switch to (his name)” but once I did switch to him, I went to home with him! Then same thing happened to the other teen which was still in school. Can’t do anything except an option to switch to her, so I just called her home and her logo showed she’s still at school. Repeated the same thing, travelled them to another lot and it’s back to normal. So frustrating.
What's also worked for me in the past is traveling somewhere like you tried, but maybe going to volunteer somewhere with everyone could work, since it's a rabbit hole event?
Hey I solved it by playing another household then back to my main household. Everything’s back to normal now thankfully :)
Edit: nevermind, the problem is now happening again even after the newest patch. I have three teens, only one gets the school daily task. The other teens can’t go home unless I send them by clicking on them. Even then, similar thing like I explained in my previous comment. How does in another thread it’s marked as solved? It’s been months with bunch of reports, it’s not getting fixed and now my teens are at risk of getting taken away because they’re being neglected (school performance hit). In manage households, NPC teens are also stuck at school, it’s the next day. Lol. PLEASE FIX IT EA, I BEG YOU.
