The daily tasks not showing was supposed to be fixed in the last patch: [HSY] School tasks not appearing for all teens (Patch 1.116.202) | EA Forums - 12298188
I don't know if the stuck at school one is but I thought they were related and since you still get the other too, could you try a game repair ?
crinrict I honestly repair the game it every time I play it. A bit excessive. But i have seen a lot of bugs so always want to make sure it is running fine
