[HSY] Sims stuck at high school

It fixed for me. There's a new High School day panel for the tasks that fixes the problem for me. What doesn't work is the exams, because sims get really strange scores based on their character (my overachiever got a low score and my sim who doesn't do good in school at all got a good one).

I hope you can figure it out! 

What's also worked for me in the past is traveling somewhere like you tried, but maybe going to volunteer somewhere with everyone could work, since it's a rabbit hole event?

Hey I solved it by playing another household then back to my main household. Everything’s back to normal now thankfully :)

Edit: nevermind, the problem is now happening again even after the newest patch. I have three teens, only one gets the school daily task. The other teens can’t go home unless I send them by clicking on them. Even then, similar thing like I explained in my previous comment. How does in another thread it’s marked as solved? It’s been months with bunch of reports, it’s not getting fixed and now my teens are at risk of getting taken away because they’re being neglected (school performance hit). In manage households, NPC teens are also stuck at school, it’s the next day. Lol. PLEASE FIX IT EA, I BEG YOU.

When sending teen sims to high school they are then stuck there with no option to return home after class ends. Even when switching to a sim at home you cannot bring the teens home from school. 

Both my teen Sims went to school and when I choose to go with them, I wasn't able to send one home when the school day was over. I had to restart the game and even when I loaded back in the Sim was still stuck at school and I wasn't able to click to get him to come home (I was back at the home lot able to play with the other Sims).

I've discovered that after some update, when i have two teenagers in a household, i could go to school with only one. The other one would have a day off and the one that could go to school, it does not show an option to follow them. 

I removed all of my mods and started a new game but the issue is still there. I'm doing a legacy game sooo this has really started to bum me out. When i started a new game the first day i was able to get both of them to school and follow them, but at the end of the day one would get stuck at school and couldn't return home, the same one also did not have the schoolday requirements/to-do list or whatever you would call it.

This is the exact bug I wanted to post, but I see someone beat me to it! It's a new issue in my game, though I guess I haven't played much in months. Only one sim is allowed to go to high school normally I guess :(
