[HSY] Sims that didn't use 'Get Over Crush' stay in list forever

there's was an old report at AHQ for this so to be sure: If you use the option as a teen it works fine but you can't use if if they never used the option and then aged up ?

I reported this issue as a phenomenon occurring among teens. Even in their teens, if the crush sentimental has already disappeared, they cannot be deleted even by selecting them from the list.

Here's a specific example:

Sim A has a crush on Sim B. However, because they didn't use "Get Over Crush," the crush sentimental faded over time. Even if Sim A selects themselves, the "Get Over Crush" option no longer appears.

Next, Sim A has a crush on Sim C. When they try to use "Get Over Crush," Sim B appears in the list. If they select Sim B and use "Get Over Crush," a notification appears that the crush has ended, but Sim B remains in the list. If they then use "Forget Crush" to end their crush on Sim C, the "Get Over Crush" option no longer appears when they select themselves.

As you can see, if you miss the opportunity to "Get Over Crush," that Sim will remain on your list forever and you won't be able to remove them. It can be especially frustrating if you develop a crush on someone when Sim is NPC, as you won't be able to end the crush. "Desire" will continue to display Sim "Desire" to continue talking to the person like. 
If you have a partner but have developed a crush on another Sim, it can be very frustrating when you want to end the crush but can't.

I noticed this in a legacy save I stopped playing when for rent came out (for fear of game breaking bugs). My sims had crushes as a teen and then married and started a family with someone different but in the back ground were having babies with their HS crush. It was upsetting to see but I sort of just worked with it. Seeing this reminded me and if this is a bug I felt I should mention I have also had this problem.

I play on console and my sim had six crushes as a teen yesterday. I tried to get over crush on a few of them and it didn't work. I got the notification suggesting it did but they were still showing in the list of crushes. 

yeah, I play rotationally, on long lifespans, so I frequently switch to a different household a couple times during the teen lifestage. That makes it very easy to have the sentiment fade when they are not the active household. I didn't realize that getting over the crush had to be done while the sentiment was active, i figured i would have some time the next time i returned to the household(s). But nope, I now have a bunch of Young Adults and older who never got over their crush as a teen, because even if they tried to do so, the sentiment had faded. They're constantly getting wants to talk to their crush, who in all likelihood they barely ever interact with anymore.
