The recent update listed the following fix as being fixed:
- Sims will now clean up diapers left on the floor after changing an Infant or Newborn (as long as a trash can is nearby). This keeps some of the intended messiness while reducing frustration. (Base Game)
However, there has been 0 change in how my game operates. Any diapers will remain on the floor regardless of how close to a sink/trash can my sim is unless I drag the item to the receptacle or direct my sim to pick them up.
