This happened to me for the first time today. Mermaid wedding on lot in Sulani. Married to Joe Trader. Tried having him move to the Chieftan's lot in Sulani and selected "Keep Furniture" It also would not allow me to purchase the lot as furnished it stays greyed out and says not available for this type of lot. Quit game, and had my created character attempt the move, same error.
Oddly enough there is also a horse and chickens on the lot from the other game packs but no furniture inventory. Cannot interact with the chickens but the horse has normal interactions available.
Playing a vanilla game without mods.
