'Keep Furniture' not working when moving

 I have this same issue. No mods. Post Update. I have moved house twice with keep furniture activated and lost all my home contents. There were a few items that were in the household section pre-move that survived but the rest was converted to money. I have three other households in the save. Luckily I had saved the lot in the gallery and could retrieve everything. It was a tiny house the first time and a tiny house / small business the second.

I am having this issue, and it's hard because it makes me not want to play. 

Basically, I have a family at the Caldera Camp lot. They have a house and a couple items in their inventory. 

I've tried moving by using the phone, moving household a few times, but this picture is from moving them on the world view to another lot (the abandoned ship). I clearly mark "keep furniture".

Notice the picture says remaining funds: 1227. When we get to the new lot, all their stuff and money is gone (sometimes when i try this, i actually have maximum money instead). 

I do not split/merge the family. 

As far as mods go, they are currently turned off, but I also had this happen when they were turned on. 

If I cannot move a family without losing everything (or worse, i have to tediously return all their possessions to the family inventory), then it means I really cannot move at all, which makes me feel like I can't really play.
