So I already confirmed that the Memorial Pictures work as normal if you change back to DirectX9 - I can now also confirm that the University Graduation photo's work perfectly as well. I hope it gets fixed soon but for now, I'm fine with going back to DirectX9 in game options.
Hello. May I confirm, after changing your settings to DX9 and getting an image, what happens if you go back to DX11? Does it retain the proper image or does it revert to the blank/distorted white image?

Hi. Personally, I've switched back immediately, and all my pictures retain their proper looks

Yo. I just tested this. I found out that changing to DirectX 9 will fix the bug. However, when you return to DirectX 11, the fixed memorial portraits will retain the correct image but if you update the memorial portraits again, the bug will return.

You need to lock the portrait. If you lock it, the game will save the image. I have this bug for nearly a year. For me it started with the legacy portrait, even if it was locked, when I exited the game and ran it again, the portrait was simply blank. Now the bug moved to the funeral and graduation portraits. It is a DX 11 problem for sure. I think I had all image-related problems: I had black, blank, blurred images. Even photos taken in one household and found in the next household. I think there are many bugs related to photos. Hopefully they can solve them soon.

Hi. Yes, if you switch back to DX11 the funeral portrait and graduation portrait will be ok. When I had a funeral I switched to DX9, completed the funeral and then switched back to DX11 and the portrait was ok. I did the same thing with the graduation photos.

t1u2yiepoqex rostsit Thank you both for your insights! I hope the developers can see this. This information will definitely help in fixing the bug entirely.
