I’ve also been dealing with this a little over a month now. Edith disappears and it’s just some random townie with the Edith interactions and animations. No mods, fresh save. I noticed it started when I turned on neighborhood stories. That’s also when I noticed Temperance had been added to the households list under a different name. She would still show up on my haunted lot but her name would be blank. I think something weird happens to these special “ghost” sims when neighborhood stories is active.
