I have searched about this issue and cannot find anything, so I figured I would mention it here. My Sim works in the reaper career. It's mostly going well, except for an entirely different bug that I mentioned in a different post a couple of months ago. While on the lot, it seems like every grimtern and the Grim Reaper themselves have an unlimited supply of Slablets. The last time I counted, 22 slablets were lying around on the desks, the floor, and the tank of the toilet. Is this normal and intended? It seems ridiculous to have 22 slablets scattered all around the place and more spawning.
I do not use mods. However, I am using some CC wallpaper. I did have 2 CC beds, but I uninstalled them. The game is current with the latest update.
I pick them all up leaving one on each desk. My sim is able to take them home and I use the recycler to dispose of them. Not ideal but it will make it so you don't see 22 of them laying around. Until of course you have to do it again.
