The royal envoy does not arrive at magnolia park to play chess. She does not arrive by herself and when I try to summon her she does not come. I can call her to my home lot but she will not play chess there.

uninstalling/reinstalling does not work. still broken.

I am at the part of the event quest where you have to win a chess match against the envoy.
When I go to the park the envoy does not spawn.
I tried calling her to the lot and she does not show up.
I tried creating a new game and she is still not showing up.
I do NOT use mods or CC. This is so unfair that the game is so broken because I really want to complete the event and the game is literally not letting me and therefore, I cannot receive the free items.
Sooo, I've had the same exact issue as everyone else. Marina is a sneaky little bug. --- I finally got her though.
Someone said that they got her to come to their home lot and played chess there, causing the event we've all been stuck on, to finally take off again.
Well, at a loss, I did that. Got myself a shiny, new chess board, some semi comfy chairs, and set up my sim with logic 10 to be her opponent.
Safe to say, my girl won.
As a safety precaution, I added her to my family. Just in case she tried to escape again. Turns out, she didn't run like she tends to do after completing all of what she usually does.
So I released her to the wild and the event has continued just fine like nothing ever kept people stuck since this event started. :p
Proof it worked.. Apparently she likes my house over being at the park. Typical, right? xD Hope it works for everyone else struggling with this rascally lady.
(P.S. It also happened like right away. So it's likely that she prefers people's houses to the parks.)
(P.S.S. Just a thought.. She likes the library too. Someone could go there with a chess set and call her there, maybe see if she will appear. Who knows, right? :p)
I was doing the current limited event. Now on the quest Pirat Princess. I was going to play chess with the royal lady but no one won the match it took forever. My sim had to leave to lot, but once I came back to finish the quest the lady was gone. I tried on other Households and other saves but she didn’t show up. Therefore my progress in the event has stopped.
Did you invite her over or travel with her ?
This happened to me too, she showed up for the first time but my game crashed forcing me to log out, not I'm in and she just won't come back I've tried everything
I followed the instructions of the event that my sims went to the park and played chess with the Royal NPC Margarina. However, my sims didn't win and Margarina still sat there to play chess.
As my sims was exhausted so I sent him home and let him visit the park the next day.
Margarina wasn't in the park but she moved into a random house.
My sims visited her but she was so obsessed with her chess table inside that house.
I clicked that chess table but no functional buttons.
So I sent my sims back to the park a few times to see if Margarina would appear but not.
I deleted the chess table Margarina sat at inside her house.
She stayed in her house forever and not showed up in the park...😞
I evicted her from the house but she still hasn't shown up in the park and I can't complete the mission...
This problem happens at my PC.
I tried a new save again today and still no recommendations seem to help. It's like she doesn't exist in my game anymore because she doesn't show up in manage households or appear anywhere in the game and when I try to summon her it still says sim not found.
BTW I got passed the thing I was failing at for sims4 I had to move her into a lot evict her mark her as unplayed and she still wouldn't show up at the park but I was able to call her to my house and I beat her at chess there and it counted
