[LLQE] Royal Enovy does not arrive at Magnolia Park/Not winning chess

I was playing the quest where you need to win a game of chess in the park against the lady. After hours of the playing the quest hadn't ben fulfilled but my sims needs were terrible so I left the lot to go home. Now no matter how many times I load the park lot I cannot get her to respawn to play chess with her.

I have tried, different sims, new saves, and everything else I can think of. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

After so many attempts to find or summon the royal envoy I decided to try a mod they recommended and used it only to skip the part of the event I was stuck on. I'm planning to try and complete the rest of the event without mods unless absolutely necessary or I'm out of options. I hope that I didn't break some unspoken rules or TOS by doing this but I have played without mods or issues like this for years and was starting to feel frustrated with the situation but I hope again that I didn't cross a line anywhere and no longer stuck with this problem.

Same thing with me, I can't invite her to the park, she's not in my game or worlds, I've started new save files and nothing. Hopefully EA sees the bug and extends the event. 

I tried playing chess with the Royal Envoy at my home lot as some suggested and she would paly chess, but didn't tick off the quest for me. What did work though was meeting her at another park other than Magnolia Park, that managed to tick the quest off for me. Got there in the end. 😅

I was having this problem as well.  I sent different family members to the park to meet her.  She would show up, but when you clicked on a chess table and selected her to play with she would leave the park.  For giggles I invited her to my home and played chess with her there and it seemed to work for some reason.  Hope this helps.

this happened to me too, so frustrating!! i found a workaround that hopefully works for others:
- i went to a different lot and called the envoy to lot with the self-interaction
- i added envoy to family using testingcheats
- i went back to the park, then brought over the envoy
- i then played chess with the envoy and it completed the task, so i removed her from family

hope this helps others, took me so long to try and make it work. very annoying.

This happened to me! She never showed up even the first time and I’ve tried everything I can think of

As the title says, I won the chess match against the royal envoy, but the task did not validate. When going in the UI the rewards were available but nothing happened when pressing the buttons.

I saved and restarted the game, but it was way worth as I couldn't even open the UI (screenshot). I restarted the game once or twice before being able to open it again. BUT when I was about to get the reward, they already were reclaimed. I looked in my sims' inventory and in the family inventory : nothing.

Now the royal envoy does not show up in the park, I can't play against her and I can't call her to come. I started a new save : same issue. I repaired the game : same issue with both saves.

It's okay if I don't get these rewards, but I'd like to continue the quests to get the others, and I'm blocked.

All of my mods and CC are removed, and I play with the last version of the game.
