The royal envoy does not arrive at magnolia park to play chess. She does not arrive by herself and when I try to summon her she does not come. I can call her to my home lot but she will not play chess there.

here what i did to make it work travel from another world not willow creek have the royal envoy invited to go with you and chose Magnolia Park on the map
I had my sim complete practicing chess at the park in oasis springs and the emissary showed up there. When they played the game seemed to continually reset, making it impossible to complete the task. When I tried to invite the emissary to magnolia park the next day she would not show up there.
However, I did try open a new save and in that one I invited the emissary to my sim´s home lot and had them play chess there and that worked to check off the assignment.
2/20/26 Also having the same issue. I have tried all suggestions in the comments here without success. Marina does not show up in my social network so I cannot summon her. I am on PC, the envoy does not reside in a new house and this issue seems to be happening no matter the save.

I’ve tried everything and Marina the Royal Envoy won’t show up at Magnolia Park to play chess. She showed up one time but then my sim had to leave to fulfill needs, and now the Royal Envoy won’t show up at all. I’ve tried reloading the game, calling envoy to current lot, leaving the park and fast traveling back. No matter what I do she won’t show up now.
Same here. New game, played chess but never completed the quest, so I guess I never won. Now she is just gone. Not showing up in the friends panel and never shows back up at the park.
BTW I got passed the thing I was failing at for sims4 I had to move her into a lot evict her mark her as unplayed and she still wouldn't show up at the park but I was able to call her to my house and I beat her at chess there and it counted
I tried a new save again today and still no recommendations seem to help. It's like she doesn't exist in my game anymore because she doesn't show up in manage households or appear anywhere in the game and when I try to summon her it still says sim not found.
I followed the instructions of the event that my sims went to the park and played chess with the Royal NPC Margarina. However, my sims didn't win and Margarina still sat there to play chess.
As my sims was exhausted so I sent him home and let him visit the park the next day.
Margarina wasn't in the park but she moved into a random house.
My sims visited her but she was so obsessed with her chess table inside that house.
I clicked that chess table but no functional buttons.
So I sent my sims back to the park a few times to see if Margarina would appear but not.
I deleted the chess table Margarina sat at inside her house.
She stayed in her house forever and not showed up in the park...😞
I evicted her from the house but she still hasn't shown up in the park and I can't complete the mission...
This problem happens at my PC.
This happened to me too, she showed up for the first time but my game crashed forcing me to log out, not I'm in and she just won't come back I've tried everything
