Loading Legacy Family Tree freezes game

Whenever I click family tree my game freezes and I have to force quit. I have tried troubleshooting but nothing helps. Is anyone else having this problem

lilymy322​  Yes, other people are having the issue.  I've had it happen several times and a friend has had it happen a couple of times.  It appears to be random somewhat.  In my case, the family tree opens but nothing displays other than the background then the screen freezes forcing you to restart the computer.  I am on PC and it started with the pre-R&L patch.  For me, it was with a female spellcaster with only one parent in the household all three times but Idk if that makes any difference really.

What platform are you playing on?  Do there seem to be any similarities between the times it has occurred for you?

i have zero display either forcing a force close of the game, my entire game is now corrupted thanks to this, my wife of 6 years is now my grandaughter, my daughters are my parents like wtf! all this caused by that stupid legacy expansion pack

Lee81Mellor​ not sure what you mean. I have no influence on what EA fixes as I'm a player like you. 

There are others that have this and the best you can do is upvote the bug

crinrict​ then what is your purpose here or any pupose of these poinltless bug reports??? the game cannot be played AT ALL what part does no one seem to understand about this? the family tree (that doesnt even open) has changed the relationship of all sims rendering the game utterly redundent, 6 years down the drain because of some stupid legacy money grab dlc that needs removing entirely with immediate effect, wives are now grandaughters??? children are now your parents??? this has been an entire month of this crap now, and it is beyond ridiculous that this isnt A1 round the clock no sleep till its fixed priority number 1 gung ho bug fix...THATS MY POINT!

I organize reports, make sure all the necessary info is in the bug report and troubleshoot them beforehand to see if not a issue that can be easily resolved or a mod issue. Once a Community Manager or me put them on Review, it's up to Maxis QA to decide what they need to do with it.
