So I play and use the Cupids Corner as an easy way to add a gallery sim over the wacky townies to partner with my sims. Consistently after I romance and add them - I update the sim's looks clothes etc.
Then if im loading to a new lot, if I have restarted my game (which also happens SO MUCH for other reasons not for this issue). That specific sim will revert to the gallery look. Sometimes their voice is the opposite (i.e. female voice on male sim - & vice versa - please note this has been happening to Sims Generated townies as well.)
I have this issue with or without mods and my mod list is TINY - I don't use CC at all cause my baby pc cannot cope - it barely can cope with the actual Sims.
I have this issue in multiple playthroughs and EVERY gallery sim that I use to date romance and make a family with. Additionally this seems to now also be on the in game sims as well. (Johnny Zest, Don - I want to have him wear the clothes from his bespoke kit dammit.)
I've tried to update them in their own household, from the picker with the bb.enablefullcas
Again both with and without mods installed. On new saves on both.
These poorly dressed sims just are not able to get nice things.
The image titles also show the timeline in which they were taken.
Additionally everytime I go to different lots i have to "reset" the sim to the outfits I dressed them in, by having to go into full edit cas - check the outfits are what i had them and then load back in.
Please PLEASE focus on fixing the game OVER releasing another pack to break this game more - Spend the year making the game work where we would not need mods to band-aid this.
If you need my modlist happy to share, these mods are only there so my computer wont burst in flames. And again this issue is when there are no mods in my game or when there are mods. (i dont want to have to uninstall and reinstall for the 300th time.
