When I find a sim on cupid's corner for my sim to date, I go to edit them in CAS and change all their outfits and any traits I don't like using the cas.fulleditmode cheat. When I load back into the game, the changes aren't visible. When I go back into cas, they are back. I played with a sim who had this issue for a while and she would occasionally change into the outfits I picked for her, but when I try to select an outfit for her, none of the new ones are there. Restarting the game does not help, it seems to be random as to when it wants to load in the oufits I picked. This has happened with 2 sims in a row that I have chosen from cupid's corner. I am on pc and do not play with mods. Please help!
I've encountered this problem too, back just before the Fairies pack came out. The guy my Sim picked from Cupid's Corner turned up for their date in his underwear (funny at first! 😅) but when I went into CAS to see what was going on, all his outfits were just the same underwear, so I gave him some outfits, deleted the underwear, and afterwards he would just randomly show up places in the underwear again. He's a ghost now so I doesn't matter so much what his clothes are, but it definitely seems like a glitch to me. I don't have any CC or mods in my game and I own all the packs.
May or may not be related, but two townie Sims that have recently married into my family have had random bathing suits as a second outfit in non-swimsuit categories. That seems a little glitchy to me too. So far, though, they haven't reverted to any of those old outfits, only the Cupid ghost guy who loves his underwear. 😁
literally! this keeps happening to be too! I have noticed that if you go into a spaceship the sim will revert back to the outfit that you make for them so that helps speed up them getting into their outfits, but its annoying to have a giant expensive thing to revert them back into something they should already be in.
