Regular game plus copy of regular game with mods removed.
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature. But, I have three couples who managed to retrieve the Sad Bear's Magical Ring and now they don't show any Romantic Satisfaction in their Profiles. Nor do they show the effects of Romantic Satisfaction/Dissatisfaction. All these Sims showed Romantic Satisfaction in their Profiles last time I played them.
I play rotationally. Playing rotationally may be a factor.
Maybe something was said when they completed the ring quest, but all that the ring tool tip says is: Magical Ring This magical ring can be activated to give Sims advantages in romance!
I messed around with their attraction levels, but that had no effect.
I did make a copy of my game and removed all the mods. No change. Then I played around with cheats and was able to restore Romantic Satisfaction, but not recommending that.
I tried having a Sim activate the ring, but Romantic Satisfaction didn't reappear.
I might try to retrieve the ring in a vanilla test game and see what happens, but that's a long haul. I'd need to find the ring, complete the quest and play around rotationally.
