When my Sim creates a date or asks someone to create a date, there are no tasks. I exited to menu and back then exited game, restarted the EA App and restarted the game. Nothing works to get it back. The sims are put into a timed date with no tasks to complete to earn 'points'.
Started today. I have no mods installed. Never had sims4 mods.
Edit By Crinrict: Removed crashing thread tag. Crashing means that your game closes. Also added pack tag.

did you already repair the game ? Test another save/couple ?
This is happening again tonight. I think I had to exit out and restart last time but that didn't help. I forgot the repair feature. that might've been what fixed it before. I'll give it a try.

I didn’t do the repair. That seemed too drastic because I knew it had gone away and come back before. It still seems to go back-and-forth. I’ve opened two different games now and except for the one today the other two had the glitch and then sometimes it went away and I don’t know why. Sorry, I’m not much help.
And so far in today’s game, it has not happened. It’s not a new game, it’s just a load of a different saved game.
Repair it's nothing drastic. You just click a button and the game checks if the game files are fine.
I'm having the same issue, repairing and creating a date with other sims in the same save (different household) did not work for me. The issue does not occur when I create a date in another save.
