Whenever I try to place a mirror in my basement, the stairs start glitching, flashing/flickering. It doesn't matter where I place the mirror inside the basement, and using/not using the bb.moveobjects cheat doesn't impact the glitch. I've tried replacing the stairs, and quitting and reloading the app.I don't have any mods or cc. Does anyone know why it's doing this or how to fix it? Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help.

Thanks for replying crinrict I don't use mods or cc. I tried to add a video (it won't let me?), and then a gif (file size too big), and then screenshots (the issue doesn't appear in them). I've tried SO many ways now of trying to upload an image I just took with my phone, but I can't figure it out, even after visiting the specific error message's EA help forum (invalid HTML stuff)...sorry.
It's like the stairs are having a seizure; they are flashing rapidly between two positions---the one I placed them in and backwards. Thanks for the help; I know it's not much to go on, and an image would be helpful. I'm at my wits' end with this new challenge of image uploading I've discovered.
Edit: I should mention the flashing is happening with the "subtle light saucer" ceiling light too, although there's a chandelier that's fine, and any other wall/floor/table light sources are also not causing an issue.
Try uploading the video to a third party site like youtube or icloud and link it here.
Can you duplicate the mirror issue in multiple house or just this specific one ?
I know I'm not op, but I'm also on a mac and I have videos for you cause I'm experiencing the same issue. (no mods or cc in game rn, all mods disabled). Here's a link to the videos. duckyf1964 anonymous1611003 I tried to reproduce this issue and couldn't. But I am on PC. This appears to be a Mac specific issue. If so, try the changes to the graphicsrules.sgr shown in the solution post by Bluebellflora. If that doesn't work, come back and we can go from there.

Every time i place a mirror over a bathroom sink, the ceiling lights start glitching and the walls start flickering. It’s insanely annoying and i don’t know what else to do. Same thing for a lot of other full length mirrors.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- A video of what you are seeingIf I'm building a house with a foundation or staircases (using a small staircase with a foundation) and a mirror (from what I can tell, it's any mirror, happens even when I switch to other types), black shadows will appear on my screen. The shadows almost look like the furniture I've used on that floor. I've been able to fix it by just not using mirrors in my builds when it happens. I have no mods downloaded. This may have already been posted, but I wasn't sure how other people may be describing what they see, so please let me know if there's any simular issues that have been posted. I would really like to use mirrors in my game more! You can see the flashes once you move over to live mode. From what I recall, I haven't noticed them when I'm still in build mode.
Could you upload the Lot you're seeing this in to the Gallery please so I can test on my Mac?
