so, I was playing a character with the military career when I started noticing something weird, the work progress would reset to 0 after my player got back every workday. I had recently installed two new add-ons (the Enchanted by Nature and Horse Ranch addons to be specific) and was panicking thinking I broke my game. I looked up other people having the same troubles, tried everything, then out of desperation, nuked the game and all files and reinstalled everything from a clean slate with new files and no mods... NOTHING WORKED.
I then began to notice something, my progress bar was going up and staying up on days the character didn't work. I looked at what my sim was doing those times and saw that every time my character did a Daily Task for work, it directly affected the work progress bar, as in causing it to rise as they were doing the task CAUSING IT TO MAX AT TASK COMPLETION AND GRANTING PROMOTIONS UPON ACTIVATING THE WORK ALARM! it would appear that somehow, the Daily Tasks and Work performance bars have somehow fused together to break the work system for the military career... ONLY the military career. I have tried with the athlete and other careers, so far this is only seen in the military career. I have no idea what's going on, but I know that this is certainly an issue for those wanting to have a military character/family with the upcoming Royalty and Legacy addon set to drop as of tomorrow during the time I write this.
