New Patch Issues - Update July 23

The new update like most of us on here have broken our game for the millionth time. 

When I log in everything works as normal, I load into a saved game and all that loads on my sims panel is their needs. When I click through all options on the simology panel for my Young Adult sim I am able to see all of their personality/traits/experiences and the new romance section and their needs but nothing else. For my child sim I can only see their needs nothing else. 

I cannot click on the dot menu to save either - I have done the recommended fixes, I do not have mods installed, and the game is up to date. --- The game DID work after the first initial update yesterday (23rd), I was able to build play a little and save. When I came back to the game later that day, my game updated again (2nd update) and this was the one that broke the game.
