All flea market/yard sale tables are bugged. The table is stocked, on the edge of the lot, my sim is tending it, and when I click to start a yard sale, no sims spawn and the timer is already missing a quarter to half of the time remaining. No sims spawn until the timer runs out and I *may* get one sim to purchase something. But then, I have five sims that spawned at the last minute, turn right around and leave.

If you start a yard sale and have your own stuff, it's your active Sim that should tend the table.
NPCs only spawn if the table is filled with NPC stuff. This is for you to buy something. If you want to sell something you need to tend it yourself.
If you don't claim it to sell things, a NPC may spawn to take over and sell their own stuff.
crinrict my active sim is standing by the table and tending to it. I've done yard sales before in the past without fail doing exactly what I am doing now.
There is no NPC spawning to sell their own stuff (not the issue). The problem is no one spawns to purchase from the table until the timer runs out - when the yard sale is over.

Is the flea market the only time you have issues or all sales tables ?
same is happening for me. i've tried selling items from my inventory at the San Myshuno flea market, from my home lot, & at a park lot. i can stock the inventory, stock the table, & tend the table, but no one buys anything. at the SM flea market, two other sims took over my table during the sale, put down their items alongside mine, & assumed the table as if my sim & her sale items weren't even there.
UPDATE: I kept tinkering with things & found some success. I changed sales tables from the Come and Get It Street Store (what I was using in the first paragraph) to the Anywhere Any Fare Food Stand (pictured below) and was able to have a successful sale of baked goods on my home lot (which is a Residential Rental). It doesn't solve the other issues I encountered, but at least my sim doesn't have an inventory full of baked goods any more!
Hi, been a minute, but I'm not at the flea market, its on my own lot.
Im having the same issue. It happens with all items anywhere by any sim. There is no sims spawning/arriving at my table. I am giving sales pitches to random sims on the lot and still nobody is buying anything. I checked with a sim with maxed out charisma, needs on green and same thing is happening. Any news on when it’s going to get a fix?! Or how I can fix it :/
