So My sim is ready for a baby. But after they tried... when I wanted to see if she actually got pregnant or not. No options for any tests. I don't use any mods or cc... Did the general sims shop ran ...

This happened to me too. The pregnancy test option did show up after a couple of minutes without trying for baby again. Also, the "Try for Baby Option" still appeared even after the pregnancy test established my Sim was pregnant. That too eventually disappeared after about one Sim day.
