So My sim is ready for a baby. But after they tried... when I wanted to see if she actually got pregnant or not. No options for any tests. I don't use any mods or cc... Did the general sims shop ran ...

I did get the pop up 'Take a pregnancy Test' from testing with Eliza pancakes, Bella goth and landgraab families with zero problem with the pregnancy test, however, before the July 1st update, I got the instant pop up to take the pregnancy test whenever I click on the toilet but this time I've have to wait for like 2 mins in real time for that same option to pop up. I even tested with newly created sim straight from CAS, no problem with the pregnancy test either just have to wait for a while for the pop up. Just note that I'm testing this out with zero mod files or CC.
I read that apparently it was done on purpose (the removal)...for tech optimizations...whatever that means...I also read that after consideration they were going to revert it...when idk. But i still don't understand the reason to do that in the first place.
Tech optimizations? They often remove custom textures and our photos for optimization, but officially "it's a bug". What's wrong with pregnancy? Reduce the population because the game will soon explode?
I cannot fathom how they could remove some stuff for the sole purpose of tech optimizations that would eventually help in our gameplay. If that's true, then they are not doing it correctly but if it's done properly that would be a good thing, I've played this game for more than 10 years since sims 3, they were never transparent who is accountable for all the bugs testing. They probably will fix this issue but I doubt that it won't be too soon, my six sense is telling me they are rushing for the next pack.
