So My sim is ready for a baby. But after they tried... when I wanted to see if she actually got pregnant or not. No options for any tests. I don't use any mods or cc... Did the general sims shop ran out of pregnancy test? did they all spoil befor the new shipment arrived?
On a smallbuissnes/resedention lot or how it's spelled.
I have been having the same issue ever since the update and it is frustrating. Can't take a pregnancy test, game does not recognize any pregnant sim,. How can my Sim give birth if the game doesn't know if she is pregnant and how far along she is?? After reading Pandasama's blog on the issue, my mind is blown as to why EA would remove pregnancy all together from the game. That is way too huge of a mess up for it to be an "accident".
Anywho, any updates?

Tomorrow, a patch for The Sims 4 will be released, reverting the changes made to pregnancy to resolve the issues reported after the July 1st update. Thank you for your patience and for reporting to the EA Forums.
We are also investigating the reports & tuning settings for ailments. In the meantime, you can reduce the frequency of ailments via the "Enable Balance & Imbalance" toggle in the "Game Options" and "Pack Settings" section of The Sims 4.
Hi, my game runs without any lag or freeze but i just want to report one thing. I was playing and my sims tried to make a baby but impossible to find the pregnancy test interaction with the toilets so it's impossible to get my sims pregnant.
I found out on their Youtube post, they posted it on X/Twitter. Wasn't able to upload the screenshots here for some reason
Pregnancy will work as it did prior to the Base Game Patch on July 1, 2025
Fixed in Patch 1.116.232/2.16
