So My sim is ready for a baby. But after they tried... when I wanted to see if she actually got pregnant or not. No options for any tests. I don't use any mods or cc... Did the general sims shop ran out of pregnancy test? did they all spoil befor the new shipment arrived?

Still in "Needs info"? EA I know you guys are busy and totally focused on the expansion that is being released today, but honestly, do you think we are excited about it if we can't even play the game right? I'm more excited about you fixing this than fairies and magic, honestly
The no pregnancy test occured first time to me when my male (my active and full fam lives at willow) tried to make his wife that lived at oasis pregnant. I tried with her to have a baby when they both were exhausted and she was visiting family manor. They tried once, no test, they tried twice and totaled and no test and I think I took them to her place to try once more and no test, then I shrugged and thought it happened cause she was plantsim at the time and gave up and returned to my family. Only accidentally noticed that they had a baby when the child was already infant and took the sim to family manor and sent the daddy to live with the mother - they tried again, no test, and I shrugged and aged the infant to toddler, skilled her full and aged her child. Haven't played the parents since and she has a younger sibling at her parents.
Oof, LackadaisicalLun , so sorry your Sim's pregnancy didn't work out. I know they're all imaginary, but we get attached. Reading your story, I was worried so I went back in and played through the pregnancy with my Sim. Luckily, I did end up getting to keep the baby Sim.
Weirdly, when I first loaded back into my save, the toilets didn't have the pregnancy test option again. I tried upgrading one of them (my Sim mom-to-be is at full handiness so it didn't take long) and then the option appeared again and I took it to confirm to her that she was pregnant. That gave her the option to share big news, so she and her partner both knew she was pregnant for sure.
I didn't cheat ahead any of the progress, and she went from first to second to third trimesters as normal, and in the third trimester she got a baby bump as expected. The moodlets had the time to the next pregnancy stage as usual. I am just wondering if taking the pregnancy test actually is what sets those moodlets in motion properly. Anyway, finally she went into labor, and had the baby at the hospital.
I was worried because after I did Check In At Front Desk by clicking the receptionist sim, nothing happened for awhile, she just kept waiting in line. Just stood there for rather a while! I actually tried doing Check In At Front Desk Again, but that action never went down into the active queue part, because the game was still workin' on the first one. From what I could see, the receptionist was the only NPC at the hospital besides the other patient behind us in line. My sim's partner got bored and wandered away.
But eventually a doctor showed up at the hospital, I cancelled the second attempt because the first one ended up working, the pregnant Sim followed her to a surgery bed, her partner stopped playing video games on the doctor's computer on the other side of the dang hospital and ran into the room, the pregnant Sim tossed him her camera, and little Evan was born.
The baby was immediately sent home to their house, with no message as to where he went. So he never appeared in the hospital room and I was worried. The game put his bassinet in an empty kids' room on the second floor and he was there when the parents got home. He's doing well and is cute af.
The dad had never touched a camera before this day, soooo.... Gnome photobomb.
Luckily the Screenshots folder in my game's folder structure had the underlying image of this, because it's a really cute pic. But the gnome photobomb is funny. That's why I love this game. W H I M S Y! But yeah, please fix the pregnancy bugs.
Simsfanwoman1993 there are instructions on a pinned post about how to send save files.
I made a complaint a few days ago here. It’s just so frustrating and confusing when we keep getting new DLC’s that break the game so much so your saves are now technically broken. Both of my sims in different saves are pregnant and I could only test using mods but never received the notifications and even the mods aren’t working at 100% because of this. I love y’all EA buuuuut this will have y’all lose people quicker than not releasing another DLC. Give DLC’s a REST for a YEAR MAX PLEASE!
Update to my previous post, although the baby was born and has been home from the hospital for awhile, I just saw that a cake is telling the mom she can't blow out any candles while pregnant. But she's not pregnant anymore! They haven't tried for a baby again yet. So that's odd! I don't get the no-aging-while-preggo message when hovering over the Adult icon in the Simology panel, like I did when she was actually still with child. But the cake still wouldn't let the mom age up even after the newborn aged to infant.
I have a follow up zip with a new save (and a couple of previous versions in case it helps) of my sim, after her baby was born and came home and she got this cake message. It also has screenshots of the pregnancy and birth showing everything going normally, and the screenshot above.
Same issue here! "Take Pregnancy Test' option won't show up! and it seems like my Sim did get pregnant (i can tell because of the cloud pop-up icons) but there is no way to officially discover the pregnancy.
Basically the same problem for me. I had my sims try for baby with 7 sims in the household. The lot is residential with a small business. I couldn't have her take a pregnancy test, but i also couldn't have them try for baby again because "you can't try for baby when the household is at max" so *I* could tell she was pregnant but i still couldn't take the test to start her symptoms or let the sims know. I went to manage worlds and checked on my other sims, then I went back to my main house. She was able to take a test after that. (Im on ps5, so no mods or cc)
I’m having the exact same problem. I also took all my mods out to see if it was that and nope. No pregnancy test showing up.
btw I just saw that the pregnant fairy Sims hold their baby bumps when flying. Is that the reason why the pregnancy interactions in the regular game are STILL broken? Yeah, yeah, very cute. But not all of us Simmers are fans of supernatural beings, nor will we play with fairies. Please do something already
