No Romantic Interactions besides 'Offer Massage'

I have a couple of sims, they have been in a relationship since they were young adults and never had a problem with romantic interactions. Recently, both of them aged up into elders and cannot do any romantic interactions. When I click on my sims partner, under the category of romantic interactions, I only see "physical intimacy", and within that category, I only get the option of "Give massage". I tried resetting them, but it still did not work. Their relationship status is still the same, same as their level of romantic satisfaction.
