no 'swim in ocean' option

Cannot snorkel, scuba, or ride any boat. Have tried all possible fixes

I managed to fix this in my game by:

1. Repairing the game
2. Creating a new sims folder then transfering back only my saves, mods and tray files

I've tried playing without Island Living installed and I'm continuing to experience the bug. 

Yes. I've had Island Living since the first day of it's release. Suddenly, for the past two weeks or so, my sim hasn't been able to swim in open water or do any water related activities aside from pools. People have been saying that along with this problem, there has been a bug where their sim can't choose an umbrella and doesn't even have the black default one when it's raining, which I've been experiencing as well. I took out all my mods and reinstalled the game, and it still wouldn't work on a completely vanilla save. I've gotten every pack I have through the EA app. There are two kits I bought in game through the marketplace. The sleek bathroom one and the music den one. 

I'm having the same issue, and I haven't played in a few months, so I'm not sure when it started, but I'm confident it's the newest update. My Sims can't interact with the water in Sulani or anywhere else beyond the shore, and they can't ski, snowboard, or sled on the snowy mountains in mt komorebi (or w.e its called). I play on a newer iMac purchased back in April, and my sister has the exact same iMac, but she didn't install the new update; she's just been playing offline, and her Sims can swim and sail in Sulani while mine can't. 

On the iMac, I've turned off and removed all mods and script mods, uninstalled the Sims 4, and deleted the Sims 4 folder entirely to force it to create a brand-new one after reinstallation. Created a new base game family, and they still can't interact with the ocean past the shore or do any of the snow activities.

Someone said it could be related to marketplace items, so I uninstalled every expansion and Kit and Stuff pack and created a new family playing JUST the base game, nothing else, but still no resolution. I'm so annoyed and confused. I don't know what else to do 😑 

Después de una actualización, mis Sims no pueden interactuar con el océano en Sulani. Al hacer clic en el agua no aparece ningún menú ni interacción. El problema ocurre en todo Sulani, también en una partida completamente nueva y sin mods/CC. Ya he borrado la caché y reparado el juego desde EA app, pero el problema continúa. El océano y las actividades acuáticas de Vida Isleña son completamente inaccesibles. Por favor, tened en cuenta mi caso en este bug verificado

ever since the most recent update to the Sims four, my Sims are unable to swim in any swimmable ocean worlds. Whenever I click on the ocean, it doesn’t pop up with any options, shallow water in deep water, I use a MacBook Pro to play the Sims and yes, I use mods. Such as MC command center, **bleep**, and base mental. I have tried the 50-50 method and removing all mods and custom content. Even then they were still unable to swim. Is anybody else having this issue and if so, is it going to get fixed soon? I downloaded/purchased  majority of these worlds specifically to be able to swim.

This is beyond frustrating, I had to stop playing the game for 2 weeks now, simply because the ocean is unusable...

Issue: Ocean has become unusable, when I click on it, nothing happens, no pie menu comes up. Cannot use jets or dive, my sims can only walk or wade in the shallow waters.

Mods/CC: I do have different mods, however I tried the game 3 times without any mods, both disabled and mods folder completely emptied and issue persists, while I made sure to delete the cache files before starting the game.

I also tried: 1) re-installing EA App as per some suggestion above, 2) tried new saves, 3) deleted The Sims 4 folder, so that the game basically created a completely new folder; 4) all my marketplace kits are installed, idk what should be done with them tbh, if they have any connection

Can someone maybe at least give some ideas if they managed to fix it or any ETA on when this will be fixed? It sucks, worst bug I have seen in a long time, along with the inventory bug, which is a different story, and it hasn't been fixed either.........

P.S.: Obviously I played in different worlds for a while after I noticed the issue (2 weeks ago), and it didn't magically fix itself for me, unfortunately.

How long did you have to play in the different world? Do you have to move them into a new home in the different world? Any further details would be appreciated. I just started having this problem yesterday. Thank you.
