NPC Bartender can’t make advanced drinks despite maxed out skill

Just like the title says. I go into a nightclub/bar and cheat to get the bartender to max mixology skill and the option for fav drink (plasma Jane in one particular save) is still greyed out and when I hover over it it says the bartender isn’t skilled enough to make it even though the mixology skill is maxed out. I’m so sick and tired of nothing in this game actually working like it should.

    Hi wenelda​ 

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    • Does it work if you regularly level up and not cheat (to make sure it's not a cheat issue)

    Happens with or without mods and how exactly do I level up NPC bartenders without using cheats?

    Does it only not work for NPCs or also not for your own Sim if you level that one up ? 

    Guess playing them would remove their role but maybe you could level a Sim up, check if it works for them and then use them as an NPC for a party to check if that works.

    Only for NPC sims. My sims have no issues.
