Not in a rental (never been with this family), not on a cursed lot.
Everything from the spotlights on the ceiling to outside balconies have been on fire. Fire fighters seem to have routing error as there was no access to balcony and they can't reach the ceiling fires.

I'm having constant fires, even on furniture that should not be flammable. I've had the same dining chair catch fire 2 times already in the same day (sims time). A TV that was not in use caught fire. Now a toilet caught fire. Not sure why the frequency of fires, or how to stop it.
Do you own for rent and did you have a cursed book event at any point with this household ?

Every two minutes or so a random object will catch fire. Usually a countertop, bed, or even just the wall. I have no mods/cc installed
Ｉ have same questions, since I bought The DLC: For Rent on Feb. 8th. There are too much fires at apartments in Tomarang. It was happened almost in every 3-10 mins so I can not play the game,
I'm having this problem here too. Random objects catch fire all the time. It's getting unbearable.
I'm not in a rental house. There's no active curse event. The table, the bed, and the flower vase have caught fire. Like, objects with 0% chance of starting a fire are catching fire. The last time it was the toilet. Anyway...

Same here, been playing with the same family for at least a month and the problem started to occur only after latest update. Not a rental, no curse has even been active on this lot. Fire is unbearable, makes it impossible to play the game.
Same here! I started a new generation gameplay, where my family had their own small business at the same lot. Worked fine and stuff, but after I changed it into a rental lot. One particular shelf caught on fire, multiple times. Moved the family to another lot in Nordhaven, which is not a rental lot and the same thing.. This is an object that can't catch on fire but does. I do not use any mods, but I have all the packs on my PC. This issue did I not have before, and also I removed the "fear of fire" trait.
