Once a room is completed / placed on the lot, a pink outline comes out.
If the rooms were already created (e.g. a shell downloaded from gallery) then no outline.

I have the grid line on visible. No option to toggle outline
I don't have any packs that makes use of the different units/business options
(what I have installed: Get to work, Romantic garden stuff, Backyard stuff, Vampires, Jungle adventure, My first pet stuff, Seasons, Island living, Realm of magic, Tiny living, Eco lifestyle, Snowy escape, Blooming rooms, Dessert luxe, Home chef hustle)
game version: 1.114.46.1030
Also, when I change the lot type and change back (i.e. from bar to residential then back to bar), the pink outline disappears as long as I don't select the same room again. This is only applicable to rooms that I placed, not the rooms already on the downloaded shell/lot. But the outlines completely disappears if I close the game and come back again.
I'm unsure if the button is base game or not so to be absolutely sure, you don't have this toggle
The top panel for my game looks like this...is that icon enabled through settings?
It might be something that's just there if you have the correct packs where it's needed. Just wanted to make sure if you have it or not.
There was a bug that they fixed where the outlined show when you didn't have the pack but I wasn't sure how they fixed it.
