Partner Sim's not proposing?

My friend got auto-purpose? I meant why my sims not receiving marry me question while others can. I didnt mean milestones from growing together

In my game, I had a female sim living in an apartment. She started a romantic relationship and gave her partner a key to her apartment. However, instead of moving in together, he wanted to get engaged. I accepted the proposal, and I started talking about marriage, joking about the wedding and getting excited about it from friendly chat options like hundred times. Despite all these, he never proposed marriage. Currently, they have 1 infant and 1 newborn together, but he still hasn't proposed.

The game is missing  moving in together and receiving a marriage proposal, even when the relationship reaches the stages of getting engaged and having children.

My friend (who plays vanilla) gets marry me option everytime while I can't.

I'm talking about this.

cebmarin Sorry but I'm confused but what's the difference between a marriage proposal and getting engaged ?

Stages are:

1. Become partner
2. Get engaged 
3. Get married (marriage event you need to plan)

Did your friend get a proposal to elope ?

cebmarin Proposing/getting engaged are the same thing. If your sim is already engaged, they can’t get engaged again. Your other thread linked to a video of a sim proposing - did you mean you got that exact popup and accepted but the animation didn’t happen, or did your sim get engaged in another way?

I meant exact popup and animation , I’ve never get this animation in any save in any try

cebmarin  If your sim is already engaged, you will not get that popup. That popup and animation is one way to get engaged. I don’t know how common it’s supposed to be - how many unengaged sims have you tried with?

Maybe 7-8 in 2 saves. Some don't ask for join to household but at the end they proposing without kneeling animation.
