Partnered Sims turn into siblings

I have this issue before the latest patch and even now it continues.

First time it happened, I tried to go back to my pre-issue save and I found out it happens once I enter CAS, change appearance and confirm. I tried to repair the game - didn't work. The only way to edit my sims appearance was to move and return them to household one by one. I also found out that this issue apparently goes years back for people.

I started a new save only to have it happen again as I tried to change the toddler's look again.

Frustrated, on 14th December, so after the latest patch, I removed the whole game, did a completely new instal and started a new save. Everything was okay for a while, I was able to edit the appearance when they had one child, no issues. Now, they have two children, one of them turned into a teen and I wanted to change his appearance. After completing the changes in CAS, I found out it happened again. I exited the game without saving. Then I removed all mods, went back to my pre-issue save, used "save as" to create a testing save, went to CAS, changed a sims look, the wives became sisterwives again, I saved the file and here is the save so please could someone finally fix this?

I'm getting to that point, too.  I've moved back to Sims 2 and 3 for the time being until this game breaking bug gets fixed.

By moving the sims between households and all, I have figured out that the bugged part is one of the adult sims. I removed all CC, moved Spouse 1 (Emma) out to a new household, changed her and everything stayed correct. Then I tried to move Spouse 2 (Regina) in with her = turned into sisterwives before I even opened CAS, probably due to change to Spouse 2 household. So I went back to the saved game, tried to move Spouse 2 to a separate household and change her = turned into sisterwives the moment I moved her. So I tried to move the kids in with Spouse 1 and change them in CAS - everything stayed correct. I went to the original household and tried to change Spouse 2 in CAS = sisterwives. So whatever the issue is, it is tied to Spouse 2. Attaching the testing save after cc was removed and the sims were changed in the original household and the bug happened + there should be a recoverable version before it happened, so the spouse 2 can be examined by someone who actually programs this.

Sims 3 won't run for me. I tried everything in the steam manual, I even confirmed that the Intel Alder Lake patch on modthesims will fix the no loading issue for Raptor Lake too but the game was just too slow to even change a sim outfit which is frustrating on a $2000 gaming laptop. And with Sims 2, I didn't even try if it would run for me and I miss all the mods I used to have there back in the days that are no longer available anywhere and I don't have the old hdds anymore...I like sims for cozy no thinking involved gaming but this is just frustrating...

Two of my Sims, who were married in-game and had an established relationship and household history, have suddenly and randomly been changed to siblings. This occurred without any gameplay action, cheats, or mods that would justify or explain such a change. This issue has completely broken the storyline, relationships, and progression I have invested time and money into. As a loyal Sims player who has spent a considerable amount of money on expansion packs and additional content, this is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I am requesting that this issue be investigated and fixed as a matter of urgency, as it impacts core gameplay and the integrity of saved games.

Has happened in my game to Dahlia and Nora Loden who suddenly now show as sisters, and hence do not have any romantic options.

My game is not modded. I play on a Mac. All the latest updates and packs installed.

I am also encountering this issue and am unable to send a message. I am playing on a PS5 and can only share screenshots and videos. I’m not sure what happened, but it is ruining a family I worked on for weeks. Please help. : )

Update, please let me know if anyone else has the same - as I have described before, the issue affects only if I try to change one of the partnered sims, regardless if she is in the household with the rest of the family or not. I can change all of the other members of the household as long as she is not here and they don't become siblings. I have played the save further from the point before they became siblings and I have found out I also cannot sell or move anything from the affected sims' inventory - she can place the things in the world, she can eat an apple from her inventory, but she cannot sell them.

I have two Sims that are married with a kid. For some reason no romantic interacts are available for them. The romance section in general is suddenly non existent.

They can’t go on dates, kiss, hug, use any of the romantic items in the lovestruck pack , or even woohoo. When the romance section does come back it’s just offer massage. My sims are at risk of divorce so I wish to know is there is any way to fix it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game. I am a Xbox player so I have no mods that conflict with the actual game packs.
