Parts that aren't transparent on the Royal Embrace Table Lamp

There are parts of the Royal Embrace Table Lamp that have this weird gray outline/background. Looking at the textures of the object itself seems to point towards the fact that these grey parts aren't meant to be there and are instead supposed to be transparent.
