[PC] Houses replaced with red X/Win Smart App control feature blocking game

I am playing on PC and there was a new update for Windows 11 and they have a smart app blocker and it was blocking parts of the Sims. I had to turn it off if you are playing on PC I would definitely check that.

I am having the same issues!!! 

Same thing, I removed my mods folder and load in to to a prevous save and the lots were all gone while when creating a new save the world screen is blank.

I would say it's more than towns.. :( I just wanna play

Came here to report the same thing! I was so excited to play but there isn't actually anything to play.... Towns are a mess!

i am having the same issue, and did the same things as you and still haven't fixed it! it's so frustrating 

I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue or currently has this issue. I was playing all morning without issue until I updated. Now anytime I try to open my game and load up a save it acts like its a new save (I have to select my save through the load save option), It takes me to the selecting a season and a world, and the lots look like the picture below. I removed my mods folder, deleted  my local thumbnail cache file, and repaired my game through the EA app with no success.
