I deleted all my saved files and mods and tried to make a random sim and save. Let me go to worlds select a house but doesn’t allow me to go inside with the sim. Instead it takes me back to the worlds screen with a picture of my sim on the world they live in. Then I click the world my sim is in and click the house they live in and it loads and brings me back to the screen with the worlds and destinations. I have tried this with mods and without and it’s not playable. Only started with this new update!

lawhughes Did you remove the entire Mods folder? If not, please do so now.
If that doesn't help, try a new save, and if you can load into live mode, try loading a different household within your main save.

Same issue here, This is getting ridiculous.
Are we supposed to fear every patch update now? 😔

Absolutely. Did you see that after they destroyed 50% of peoples games they turned around and started selling new stuff? :D even EA could'nt help me do anything but restore my base game. None of my packs load in. Pick and chose your pack is right. EA said they way you do it is to go in and un-install the content you don't want after you disable the auto download. and then re-install the content you do want and up it works. 47k hours of playing and this is the most horrible thing I've seen maxis do to it's players.

They tried to use the EA play plug in for the bought content. so if you are an EA play pass person your good to go.

They'll fix it in a month or so after they realise they started losing thier base.

alamna74 Please remove your entire Mods folder, delete localthumbcache.package, and repair the game (EA App > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair or Steam > Sims 4 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of the game files). You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.

I am having the same issue. Happened after the update. I would supply the info but every time I do the EA response is the problem is on your side.
Been in the Support game long enough to recognize a delay or we don't flipping know tactic. The default response is blame the user.
Getting ready to uninstall to save space again and I no plans to buy any packs for a game that likes to fail randomly.
