So frustrating. I have tried going through my mods folder, and then just today tried the method offered of renaming your old folder to create a new sims 4 folder, repaired my game, and booted it back up.
Even with no mods, no saves, nothing in it, the game took over half an hour to load me into a lot, and even when it did load me in the game was utterly unplayable, severely laggy, and essentially impossible to do anything with. I have no idea what to do from here. It doesnt look like any last exceptions popped up, as I do not see any in the new Sims 4 folder, but the game is still utterly unplayable. Like, for reference, with a Mods/CC folder of 55 GB, my game prior to this update was still loading lots within 10 minutes max.
