Ideas
After the last update i can no longer play my game. When i click resume game it loads me to the world select screen. When i click the world/family i want to play it switches to the loading page to loop me back to the world select screen. This last pdate has me ready to delete the game. I spent good money on these packs to not be able to play when it updates. This is frustrating, if an uppdate is incomplete there is nothing wrong with waiting until it is to launch. Please provide any lastExcption files you are getting and remove any mods/cc you may be using.
i already removed all my mods/cc and for a game that promotes using it, i do not expect to have to delete them everytime the game update messes up. im not getting files popping up, im getting exactly what i explained. it is not hard to understand i didnt use big words or confusing jargain. Like everyone has stated before it has us all stuck in a loop of world select not allowing us to play any of our saved games.
it is actually kind of crazy you guys are acting as if its user error with so many people having the same issue. Sounds to me like we are better off not wasting the money or time if i am going to have to spend hours fixing others mistakes.

I just came back from Gamescom and have not read this thread in detail nor everyone's post. For the most part from what I was told from other helpers, it has been either a mod issue or removing cc playmats which can cause issues with milestones. Even the modders say that lots is broken and needs to be updated.
The problem with endless loading and map reloads is that they have a boatload of causes, ranging from issues with mods, to issues with removed mods and actual game issues. It's not just one cause/one issue.
Problem is that with the info most people provide here, it's not possible to pinpoint the cause. You did not state in your post that you don't get any lastExceptions. (instructions where to find them can be found in the OP of this thread) but if you don't it's best if you provide your save game if you haven't done so already.
