I have been a Sims 4 player for many years, and I'm usually able to fix my game by myself. Whether that be removing mods, disabling them entirely, repairing the game, messing with tray info, whatever. However I cannot figure out how to fix this latest problem.
Since the latest update, I am unable to play any household. It will open the world, but anytime I try to actually play the game, it takes me back to the world selection screen. The game is literally unplayable.

This is definitely mod related try renaming your mods folder if this works move your mods into a new Mods folder 1 by 1 until you find the culprit it will probably be a script mod. Mine was littlemissam mods
Its not a mod issue, i've taken all of mine out. Error still happens. This is something The Sims Team needs to fix.
I was having exactly the same problem and now I don't. some scrips sometimes get put in the main folder out of the mods folder its worth checking. mccc uicheats and whims work fine.
I took out literally all of my mods already and it didn't fix the issue.
I think EA needs to say something. I haven't yet seen anything addressing this.
