When I place photos taken with phones or cameras in my Sims’ house, they turn black when I exit the game and come back to play!!!! 😢😢

I had this issue occur for the first time after the January patch. I am trying to find out if this most recent (February) patch has actually solved the problem for anyone, so far it seems like it has not. So this problem is still occurring and the game is basically unplayable...still. Y'all are killing me. Let's just have larger save files, go back to the way things were, this is terrible. We can't take pictures, we can't do paint by reference, what's the point? Especially with a royalty pack...
This is so disappointing. Has anybody had any success with this latest patch?
