When I place photos taken with phones or cameras in my Sims’ house, they turn black when I exit the game and come back to play!!!! 😢😢

Mods/сс are not to blame. They said they fixed it and closed the big discussion thread. But your old photos won't be normal anymore. If you have the latest version, try taking a new photo and hanging it on your wall. Maybe then the photos will stop being black. Try it and let me know.
Sorry, it's taken me so long to try this. I just checked, and the photos are still black on the wall. The ones currently in my sims inventories are not black. I tried taking new photos and putting them on the wall, and those are not black. For the black photos, I even tried adding a filter, removing the frame, and making a copy, all of which do nothing; the photos still remain black, except for new ones taken. When I closed out of the game, I didn't save it in case there is a patch in the future, and saving my game like that may make the issue unable to ever be fixed in my game. This is super frustrating as I've had this generational save for years, and their photos are just gone! Yes, I technically still have them in my computer files, but it's just not the same as my Sims actually having them. If you know, you know.
