My pictures are black after I load back into my game on console.

I can't keep pictures in my sim's inventories without worrying about them blacking out. This didn't start happening until the last update. It must be something with the inventory since they messed around with it. I can no longer play this game stress free.
I have a mac pc that now has the game moved to the new app version. The pets(cats, horses, dogs) and the photos keep turning black while in play. This just started after the latest update.
