Since the 'CC fix' update that came after the release of Marketplace, my game refuses to load past the Main Menu. The loading screen to get to the Menu is much longer than it was pre-Marketplace.
And referring to it as "loading" the MM is strong verbiage. The screen is glitched as though someone took a baseball bat to my monitor. I'm unable to interact with the game at all once I've run the program & the glitched MM appears, and the only way to close the program is to shut my entire PC off.
I tried this with and without my mods & CC folder installed, no dice.
I tried un-and-reinstalling... even less dice.
I've paid a lotttttt of money over the years for The Sims 4, even pre-ordered the base game way back when, so I'm sincerely hoping this can be resolved/rectified.
