I decided to create a new thread about this because the other ones seem to go unnoticed and unsolved. The recent laundry list doesn't show anything in regards to this ongoing critical issue that is effecting a lot of people's save files. Some people are saying it's from the For Rent pack and there's a limit on how many rental lots you can have-- which is insane if that is the case. I did test this by not having any rental lots and it still happened. Also, having large save files but what would be the point in creating legacy saves or putting in effort to make your ideal save if there's limitations? The issue is (without mods btw!) placed lots default back to the presaved lots in the worlds. They show up from map view, but going into Live or Build mode they show as default.
Yes, Memory Boost is activated. Yes, this issue happens without mods. Yes, this has happened in more than one save. I've (and others) have shared our save files and there's more than enough evidence of what is occuring in our games. Please fix this!
Well said! Thank you! This is one of the reasons I am now playing Inzoi and will play Paralives as soon as it releases because you don’t have to worry about this severe problem! Inzoi has now added options to the game to allow players who have PC’s with higher specs to have larger save files and play on higher graphic settings and if you have a PC that is on the lower end, you can now adjust the settings to fit your hardware specs. EA is one of the largest gaming companies in the world and very technologically savvy, so I am surprised they have not yet made similar changes to the Sims 4 to allow players with higher end PC’s to have larger save files with more Sims and larger, more complex builds so that they don’t have to worry about save corruption! Imagine if GTA or Fortnite had this problem!
they’re mostly concerned with releasing packs that aren’t asked for instead of fixing what’s already there. it’s a shame. i will be getting Paralives when it releases on the 25th. InZoi got pretty boring for me quickly but I’m glad you enjoy it!
