This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5.
The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

So eith the update the annoying legend is back on my screen. It WILL NOT go away, even after I go to Menu-Game Options-Tutorial and Tips-UNCHECKED enable guidance system, and help center icon. HOW TF do o get this off my screen??
I play on my Xbox, so I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same as on PlayStation. But, I had the same exact issue and was totally stumped on how to fix it. Finally, I figured it out after searching around. I went to: Menu-Game Options-Other-and then I unchecked the box that said “Show Controls Legend.” I guess it’s in a different area rather than under the Tutorials and Tips section. Hopefully that helps! Us Console players have to stick together!

This happens on my Xbox too, having to reset my preferences every single time I turn the game on. Driving me crazy. I have to invert my camera controls and get rid of screen clutter
This is EXACTLY how you are supposed to disable this but it is bugged. It keeps resetting every time I reload the game. Other settings reset too.
