This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5.
The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

Control overlay won’t turn off despite disabling the guidance system. I’ve reset the settings and disabled them again. I also tried a new save and the issue still persists. I play on the PS5.
So eith the update the annoying legend is back on my screen. It WILL NOT go away, even after I go to Menu-Game Options-Tutorial and Tips-UNCHECKED enable guidance system, and help center icon. HOW TF do o get this off my screen??
I play on my Xbox, so I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same as on PlayStation. But, I had the same exact issue and was totally stumped on how to fix it. Finally, I figured it out after searching around. I went to: Menu-Game Options-Other-and then I unchecked the box that said “Show Controls Legend.” I guess it’s in a different area rather than under the Tutorials and Tips section. Hopefully that helps! Us Console players have to stick together!

I’ve figured it out! It will be in the settings > other > controls overlay reminder and disable it. It’s just different from PC players! :)
Every time I open the game I have to go in and adjust audio, legend, accessibility and the tutorials

OMG same I'm on xbox but it also won't go away. I have no idea how to get it off my screen
Brookeerk122003 you can get it off your screen in your Game Options>Other. But currently as a result of this bug you will need to do that every time you restart your game.
