[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This happened yesterday to me too. Hope it get fix soon!! 

This still isn't fixed with today's patch... Last night, I was logged out of my EA account and had to log in again. The interesting thing was that while not logged into my EA account, my settings did not reset at all. My settings were completely fine and just the way I left them the next time I loaded my game. Then, I logged into my EA account (and accepted the updated TOS) and my settings are once again resetting every time I load the game. I hope this is fixed soon! It's very frustrating.

Everytime i close the game and open it back up my volume and UI slider are back to the default settings.  Im on PS5, so no mods or cc. 

I just had the strangest thing, I just bought horse ranch then restarted the ps5 as I feel it's always good to do after new packs are bought and when I reloaded, for the 1st time in weeks, all my settings hadn't been reset.....but it disconnected my EA account as there was a new privacy policy to agree to. After agreeing it said I must restart the game after linking account again.....low and behold, all settings are reset... It'd be a fix for some people to sign out of EA account but I upload to the gallery quite often.. how odd it reset just because I linked my EA account again??

Omg I’ve been looking for this thread everywhere to see if any other simmers have been going through the same thing. It’s been driving me craaaazy ! lol ea please any updates on this issue 🙏 

I'm also having this issue on Xbox. Every time I open the game I have to readjust my settings.  Not in every category, but the settings under the "Tutorial & Tips", "Sims Delivery", and "Other" categories have to be adjusted to my preferences every time I launch the game.

I noticed after the recent batch of updates preparing for the release of the Enchanted Nature EP my settings reset after i quit and renter the game. it would be less annoying if it was just one setting. but it resets my camera axis, the tutorials, and also automatically puts on the ‘controls overlay reminder’ and the ‘show controls legend’ 

This bug has never happened to me previously, and showed up with in the last month

I am having the issue and I play ps5. It is getting quite annoying that each and every single time I load up the game- the game option setting revert back to restore default settings. I don’t want the show  control legend and the control overlay reminder on my screen each time I play.

I play on xbox and every single time i load up the game, i have to reconfigure my settings. my tv is quite small and my vision is not the greatest, so i have to turn up the UI to the maximum setting. with it constantly resetting, it’s not only frustrating to mess with each time but it’s also difficult to see what i’m doing. please fix this as soon as possible 🫶

When playing the new expansion my PS4 starts heating up like crazy. The strange thing is that it only happens when I enter  Everdew, in the other districts it stays cool as usual. My theory is that is caused by an optimization problem, but I'm not sure as in the other districts it works just fine.

Also, another thing that troubles me is that every time that I launch the game, in my screen it appears the functionality of every button, and even thought I deactivate it on settings it reappears every time I reopen the game.
