Constant freezing and unresponsive controls

It’s literally freeze, then error, then ten minutes later I can’t get out of a screen bc my buttons don’t work.  I’m really upset that I spend money on DLC and game packs for a system that doesn’t even work through one full game-play.  I was excited to get the sims again and thought this new system was supposed to make things better.  I was so wrong.  Then to get hit with a message that says “we’ve fixed 150 bugs” when I log in is like a slap in the face tbh.  I legit downloaded sims for stress relief and this is stressing me out.  Total disappointment.
